Help with block heater location

New here and just picked up an 05 F350 DRW Lariat, and I can't seem to be able to find the cord for the engine block heater, do all diesels have them??

I have the original window sticker and it does not have it listed as an option.

They all come with them but they do not come with a cord. You will have to install the cord.

look on the passenger side by your tow hook. if you dont have one your gonna have to get one but they are $100 at the dealer and like $26 at a auto parts store.

Do you think I need it in MD? it does not get all that cold here, and the truck came from near Buffalo NY and if they did not use one up there I'm thinking I may not need one here.
