Ammo against cummins guys...

I am having an ongoing debate with some guys that keep bashing the 6.0 and i know a little about them because i am mainly a 7.3 guy. Wut can i tell them that may alter their way of thinking?

Admit to them that the 6.0 does have head stud, head gasket and EGR issues. Then tell them that all that can be fixed for $1k (if you do the labor). Once those issues are addressed, you have an awesome platform to go to higher hp numbers without replacing your tranny. Ask them how much hp their trannies will take...if they say anything over stock, they're lying. I would rather spend $1k on that other stuff than $4k on a tranny...plus whatever it would cost to replace their cheap interiors.

Killer dowel pin syndrome....the cummins fatal flaw. tell them that an engine that can be trashed by a 10 cent press fit dowel pin is a joke........
