my mileage really sucks right now..

So i filled up last weekend... and reset my trip meter.. i got 56 miles to 1/4 tank of fuel in a 29 gallon tank... and i have been driving very conservatively.. Erics extreme street tune is installed.. any ideas???

I get 280 miles to a tank. Empty on the freeway. 29 gallon tank.

Dude I'm getting 6mpg right now. COLD temps, longer warm up times, weight in the bed for traction, grille cover. It's all destroying it. This time of year sucks for that.

Old Truck: 00 F350 XLT DRW: basic first few mods. S&B, 4" straight pipe, gauges, CCV, EBPV and Wastegate line deletes, LED Sills, sweet custom headlights, smoked cab lights, Ventshades, Tint.
Traded in at 196k miles.

"Brand Newish" Truck: 02 Chevy S10 2.2L 5sp. Reg cab 4x2. Badass custom made shifter, foglights, 20% tint, AVS Vent-shades, Stock Intake mods, Electric Fan conversion .
~ 95k miles.

How are your fuel filters? How does it react with any other tune. I usually pull 125 per 1/4 tank in that tune but im running stock tire size

It's a conspiracy, the man is trying to get us to get rid of our smoke blowers and start driving priuses, no seriously it's just that time of year, shotty fuel, ebp, warm up times, constant cold weather it all plays a role against our milage

on the 6.0 I can see a seroius mileage drop when the truck heats up like 4 mpg difference and thats just TX, I think ford compensates too much to get the engine up to temp, for emissions reasons.

Do you have a lack of power? If so I would question EGR valve stuck open..

i have no weight in the bed, no grille cover, i warm for 5 minutes no matter the temp outside.

i do need to do my filters.. they are getting done when i get my pay check or tax refund, which ever comes first.. eric disables my EGR valve, so it couldnt be stuck open.. i am going to refill the tank, then set it back to stock tuning and see what i get...
