Gear shift lever

Hello members,

I have a 04 f350 dually with the auto trans. My gear shift is very sloppy . I have taken it to the dealer and politely got bent over for them to adjust it. But its still very sloppy. Has anyone had this problem if so HELP me fix it.

I've got the same problem with my 99. Look up under the dash and there is a "collar" that has 2 torx head screws in it. Try putting some loc-tite on them and tighten them down good
