Snow Driving

Wow! This is the first time I've had my truck in the snow, and it doesn't disappoint. I grew up in Pittsburgh and have had other 1/2 tons and a wrangler, but this thing is like a freaking tank! Even with my wore out BFGs, it hauls azz no matter how much snow there is, even drifts near the side of the road. I've always loved snow driving, but now its even more fun!

How much did you get there? We got blasted here in Indy bigtime, at least for us. 12.5 inches, 6th most all time. Forecast calls for another decent storm next week....I don't know where I'll put the snow if that happens. It's piled up everywhere. The winch on my quad acted up a couple of times and pissed me off when it wouldn't raise my plow a couple of times...I hope that doesn't happen again!

I can't wait to get back in a truck in the snow. Last truck i had in the snow was my Lightning, nowthat was fun..lol there was a sticker on the door frame saying that Ford does not recommend driving this in the snow.

We got about 6-7 inches around where I live. It's funny that all the schools were closed and most of the businesses too. In Pittsburgh, we would have 10 inches in the morning, and all we would get was a 2 hour delay for school. It is funny to watch these idiots attempt to drive though! 4 wheels drive SUVs driven by soccer moms are the biggest culprit. I am constantly blowin past them so I don't get in an accident because of someone else's lack of driving skill.
