Leveling Kit Install Help!

I purchased a leveling kit for my F-350 Dually 2005 2wd. The spacers go on the bottom and there are some studs to lengthen the lower mount. Everything went on ok my only issue is that when I placed the bottom larger washer and nut back on there was a gap or about 1/4" or less between the washer and the coil? Everything is good to go but this washer sat tight on the coil when I removed it. I called the company and they said it was ok? What does everyone think?
Sorry if this is confusing also does any one know how tight the bottom bolt needs to be? Also is there some special way to tighten this bolt since it is in the center of the coil I am having a hard time getting to it?
