Looking to bye a powerstroke please help!

Hi im Al and im new to the forum, im looking to bye a powerstroke threw 2003-2006 6.0L, but i dont no whats the best year and what are bad years, and i heard alot of people with the ford 6.0L blew head gaskets. But any info would be great thanks. And the truck will be a daily driver and i will pull the truck at truck pulls.

05 or newer would be your best bet. 03 and 04 where hit and miss. Whatever ya do get an oasis report. and yes they had several problems, but they can all be fixed, head studs and egr deletes make these very very reliable.

05 - 07 always hear the negative never the positive, some heads are bad others are fine all in all a good motor. but as said above, get an oasis on whatever you look at

get an 03, you'll never regret it

unless someone on here is telling you all about the 6.0s and their problems i wouldnt listen to any outside people..especially joe blow down the street with his 94 dodge dokota

all years are great trucks, like anything though its really a hit or miss

i think the 05 and newer ride better with the front coil set up, but i would take any 6.0 with the knowledge i've gained about this motor. its like any other vehicle, a little homework goes a long way.

If you want a 6.0 to be trouble free then I would leave it stock.

The 03s are good! But they updated things on the motors and they do seem to be better. Also the 05 and newer have a much better front end.
