1st PSD and I have a problem

last night my 03 6.0 was loosing power, couldn't sustain hwy speeds, and died about 1 mile from the house. this morning I tried to crank it and it was trying to start. Could it be as simple as water in fuel?

hey, i'm new to fords and diesels, and have a similar problem.
truck starts,idles fine, but won't build speed after 30mph,and wont build rpm
after 2nd gear.
a ford dealer mechanic buddy thought the fuel might have geld, told me to
replace both fuel filters.
gonna try that tomorrow.
any other thoughts?

I would replace both filters its a cheap possibility. But I would also be looking into High Pressure Oil System.

Got my 03 6.0 started today after sitting over night. cranked over for a long time and was sputtering so I hammered the throttle and it came back to life!
However at idle it was 1200 rpm, and when I reved it I was rollin coal. I killed it and tried to restart, no luck. tomorrow filters and drain off the water. Hope it works!
