intercooler boot

blew a intercooler hose today any help on how to keep it for comming of would be a great help thanks.please:

on the end of the pipe/ intercooler...scuff it with sand paper. Also try spraying hairspray on the ends. Youd be surprised how well it holds.

It's prolly blowing off due to oil. Clean it good and put it back tight. If it continues to blow off try spraying tube with hairspray. Makes it sticky/tacky

Clean the boots with very hot soapy water. Let them soak for a little while (15-30 minutes) Dry them really good. Clean the areas that they mate up to really well. Use a bit of hairspray (not too much, and put the boot on immediately before the hairspray dries). Tighten the clamps really good. Last step - put your foot in it and don't worry about them!. hehe Good luck
