2007 Harley Davidson F-350 Super Crew PS
Just a quick question and observation..I have spent quite some time on numerous forums and I believe without a doubt that the members/posters here in this forum are amazing..excellent knowledge, very forthecoming and friendly..so to all of those contributors..thanks for helping newer owners like myself so much.
My question is this, is there any "Top 10" issues that my truck (33,000 "km's") might be suffering from at approx. this number of k's? I have no serious problems and just thought a little check would be a good idea..many thanks in advance. |

are you seeing any issues with the truck? like loss of power? white smoke? oil smell? anything out of the norm?

if you read through the tons of 6.0 problems threads you can find a lot of stuff that goes wrong. luckily though the 05-07s are better than the 03-04s. as far as i can tell you from my experience is that i have no problems whatsoever. mine is an 05 with almost 60,000 miles driven everyday and i drove it to miami from oklahoma city and back and i would do it again. since yours is the newest then i dont think much would go wrong at all. of course the biggest things to go are headgaskets, egr coolers, injectors and turbo issues from what ive read. i use diesel kleen when i fuel up and never let it idle for more than 3 or 4 minutes at a time. i also change the oil in it every 4500-5000 miles and i use 3 quarts tranny fluid to 12 quarts rotella and its been great. im sure someone will chime in with more info for you but the secret to these babies is maintanence.

67k miles on my 05, 17 with SCT and extreme or looney tunes and no problems to speak of. Make sure you stay on top of your maintenance, add a coolant filter, and do an egr delete if you can.
