04 6.0 turbo

I have a 04 6.0 and it seems like when I try to take off it hesitates, almost like it takes a long time to build up the boost in the turbo, I also get horrible fuel milage, any suggestions??

Do you run it hard or do baby it? You need to run the crap out of the truck every once in a while to make that 6.0 happy and run right. The vanes in the turbo could be sticking.

I sometimes get horrible gas mileage also in my '04, fill up half a tank and barley get any miles out of it, but strangely when i go WOT and make my truck work, my mpg increases over the long run? Btw my truck doesn't even know what a trailer is or work it that matter.
