EGT PROBE

Ok. I am wanting to know where you all mounted your egt probe?

I know in the manifold is the best, but I know many of people who did behind the turbo? I wanna hear your guys opinion on whats better...

before the turbo b/c it is about 300 degrees (i think) more accurate

oh
so to install the probe you drill a 7/16 hole then a 7/16 npt tap?

The drill size is right but I think the tap is a pipe tap I/8" NPT

you would drill a 7/16" hole with a 15/32" drill bit you cant drill the hole the same size as what your tap is. becasue the tap wont have anything to grab on.
