New Guy

Hey Fellas,

Been following the sight for a few weeks and finally went and bought a 2006 f250 cc fx4 lariat. It worked out well as my step sister was selling hers. She had put about 59,000 highway miles on it and it looks pretty much like new. It was pretty cold in Tn this weekend and it started right up without plugging it in. I drove about 450 miles today and averaged about 19-20 mpg. I can't wait to hook my camper this spring and try it out. I've been towing my 26 ft trailer with my 1/2 ton Chevy so this should be quite a difference.

I'm originally from a little town called Spring City about 60 miles south of Knoxville. But I've been in the Navy for about 20 years, so I haven't lived there in a while. I live up in Md. now, but I'm in Savannah going to school for a few weeks, so I drove up and got the truck this weekend.

Right now just some new tires. The originals are about worn out. I'm one of those guys that has a hard time leaving things alone. But, with this one I don't want to do anything to kill that 100k engine warranty or just degrade longevity and dependability. I went through building jeeps until they were just toys and not much good for the road anymore. I plan to have this truck a long time and want to make it last.
