Looking at a 6.0, any advice?

Well, need a truck and still havent found one that really fit what i liked (or it dissapears). Friend of mine has a buddy with an 04 extended cab 4x4 diesel 6speed stick. decent list of stuff done
aftermarket turbo
rods
pistons
crank
head studs
dual cp3
triple plate clutch
industrial injectors (dunno what size though)
i would assume a tune obviously. never raced or off roaded or beat on at all. i dont even think he hauled with it. single rear wheel. is there any other things i would look for? it has maybe 40k on the clock

Recheck your mod list and get back to us. He is not running a cp3 setup on a PSD

It is actually running a custom twin cp3 setup, it has been seen in person

Thats impossible with the HEUI injection system on a 6.0

heui? all i know is pretty much the whole fuel system is aftermarket and somehting about shutting off 4 of the fuel valves

if i can get pictures i will asap. I found it odd at first too since cp3's are off a cummins. and are the 6.0L stock still oil fired? or did they ditch that after the 7.3?

HEUI is hydraulic electronic unit injection. It's not technically impossible to run a common rail setup on a 6.0 like the CP3 would run, but it's highly unlikely that's what he has. If he does, he really built something special. Are you sure the truck has a 6.0 in it and not a 5.9 Cummins conversion?

its a 6.0 definitely. i dont see why he would go with a cp3 setup on a cummins when he can just go twin p7100's. granted its not common rail but they make ridiculous power
