Dropped Her Off At The Dealer Today.....
i finally figured i had beat it enough i got the white smoke (egr) loss of coolant, overheating, small oil leak, im really crossing my fingers for a Head Gasket

i dont get it.. ya'll must really beat the crap out of your trucks to have gasket issues, egr issues, white smoke, loss of coolant issues.. 4 years i have had my truck, and the only issues i hve had are turbo issues, which happened while in 100% stock trim... now i have SCT xCal2, innovative tuning and the truck is great.. i dont baby it, but i dont hot rod it either.. what are ya'll doing to cause this?? or is it just bad luck??

trust me, i dont baby it.. but i just dont see why everyone is having all these issues.. maybe i got lucky and have a solid top end on my truck.. seriously, i would like to know what ya'll are doing to either have these issues come up, or what ya'll are doing to cause these issues.. are they out of the blue types of things, or human caused..

I still think most of the problems occur from continued high egts. Like towing a 5er and running the truck at 1200* for a long period of time, pumping all that hot exhaust into the egr, boiling the coolant. I almost never see over 1000* and I have yet to have any problems, even running on Looney for 15k.

well i finally got an answer..... they replaced egr cooler and valve, not really what i was hoping for couch head gaskets cough cough.
