DIY intake?

I was just curious about a DIY INTAKE FOR MY 06 SICKO if so maybe some pics would be great. i am not in the financially able to buy a high dolla cold air system.

i would just buy a AFE or S&B drop in replacement if you really want to change it...

like this

But, if you're not producing over 400+ HP, isn't the factory actually a good filter?

the factory box is great. I have a factory intake on my truck with an AFE drop in filter. IMO spending 300 plus on an intake is silly

yah the factory box is really good... just replace it with the AFE like 03f250 stroke did and youll be more than happy

Zoodad, and the AFE replacement is on the list for me. I think if someone was to make a piece to replace the corregated plastic tube on the filtered side, you have a CAI that will be just as good for less than 1/2 the price!!!

Thank you very much for the suggestion that is what i would like to do then about the Zoodad i really want to do it but am scared to death of suckin water or better yet pluggin my filter up with ice and snow?
