Egt overshoot time?
I have a 03 6.0 powerstroke that i recently added the banks six gun with the pda. I was trying to get some smoke out of it. so i turned up the acclorator pump, which helped. the next thing that i can fine tune is the EGT overshoot time. What exaclty does that do or does anyone know? I was wondering if that would give me more smoke if i turned it all the way up or if it would hert anything? Thanks for the help.

i think it sounds as if its a safety precaution to help prevent you damaging the turbo and engine by keeping your egt's down and shutting off the truck before you damage anything if you exceed a certain temp for too long.
