How about an aftermarket METAL direct replacement bolt-in tank? I want to put the fuel sump on the bottom so I don't have to deal with the crappy FASS pickup tube that runs dry way before the fuel tank gets close to empty.

Not to derail the thread but, I know exactly of what you speak,, You think they could have engineered a little better pickup then that cobbled together hardware store parts setup?

Scuffy told me where he thought I could get one but I didn't write it down and I don't remember . A metal tank would make it very easy to remedy the problem.

I did find this one that is larger (46 gallons) and metal: Ford pickup replacement tanks. It's a little pricey, but cheaper than the Titan by quite a bit.
