what is your thought

Well my 2006 f-250 with 23k miles transmission blew up and it has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now. Is it me or is that a little rediculous? I called today and and they said they are still working on it and that this is a big job. Is there anything I can do Like call Ford and try and get them to make a payment on my truck since they have it and i cant drive it? This really sucks because we are suppost to get hit with like 12 inches of snow in the next day and i am driving my brotherinlaws 2 wheel drive half ton truck. I miss my truck and i want it back.

Ford use to provide you with a loaner for that long of a repair. When I had my Lightning in the shop I ended up with a Focus, a Taurus, and finally a Ranger. I think I made them slightly mad and got the truck on the last trip. I mention something along the lines of leaving a $30k truck for a $15k rental car ain't even respectable. Especially when it took 3-4 trips to fix a leaking rear window.

Did you leave your Edge tuner on it when you took it in? Sometimes that really ticks off a dealership. They get paid less for warranty work and if they see heavy mods, they can sometimes place you at the bottom of their list.

Hope they get it done right for ya - are you having any upgrades done to it?
