OSB port?? Is there a diagram somewhere?
Hi- New to diesels and here. Working on making my 2005 4x4 desel into the truck i have wanted for the last 15 years. I bought a Bully Dog Pup programmer and can not get it to go past 3 screens. It seems to get stuck at retriving vin info. I called Bully Dog today and went thru part of this. Bully dog says the programmer is not vin locked and the issue is most likely my OSB port. So i pulled the 2 bolts to look and i see that a purple wire is not connected. Is it suppose to be? Is there a diagram that shows the wires and what hole they are suppose to be in and a color chart? It also appears that a blue/white wire is cut and taped. It may have come that way from the factory? Or my truck throws so many codes it was all bypassed so i would buy it? I doubt the latter. I have put 5k miles on it in the last 30 days. I love it, runs good, only other issue is a vibration that started after i installed my 3 inch lift. Where can i find info on the OSB port for a 2005 ford diesel. Thanks, Mark
