Mobile 1 Diesel Truck 5W-40

Anyone using this and had good results? I am thinking about trying it out on this next oil change and comparing it to a buddy of mine running Rotella. Send both in for an oil analysis after about 5,000 miles maybe. Let me know if you are using it or know people who have and what kind of results you have seen.

Also I live in NW Indiana and my truck is outside at home and at work.... should have gotten a house with a pole barn

I know its costly. And as for the pole barn just plug the truck in and start it 15 min before you leave.

I'll only run Mobil or Valvoline diesel oil in my trucks.
Right now I'm running Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme 5w-40 in my 07 and it's great.

I dislike Rotella.

Thanks for the input guys, what are you using for oil filters? One of the guys here at work has been using Wix in his truck for 90k and swears by them, anyone have a pro or con for this practice?

I run Napa gold (made by wix) filters in my truck since the first oil change. I run their fuel filters too. No issues, they're a good filter. I'm also jumping on the Mobile 1 bandwagon. I've heard from some good sources that the M1 or valvoline are the way to go with a 6.0L. I don't have it in my truck yet, but it will be (and for good) at my next oil change.

I only use Motorcraft filters....for everything (fuel, oil, air, trans, etc..).
