Question

Well i am new to a 6.0 liter just wanderin i started my truck this morn 6 degrees and didnt plug her in didn't have a spot to but ne ways she fired rite off but it sounded funny the vgt didn't kick in unless i gave her a little throttle so i didnt know if ne one had some ideas for me or is this just normal?

Sounds pretty normal too me, mine is loud as heck when I started her up leaving work yesterday (~+5F). Also these trucks are known to hold back on power till the engine and trans temps come up. If you have to drive it cold like that just take it easy on her for a few miles till things warm up then hammer down.
