Worried about buying '03 6.0

I've got my eye on an '03 F350 4x4 dually crew cab with the 6.0 diesel. It has 49K on it. It already has the edge system installed on it with the little computer mounted above the dash.

Should I worry about buying this?? I read about all the issues with chipping these motors and other issues. Should I find a similar mileage '02 instead? It will be used mainly for a daily driver but will be hauling a camper and towing a 4x4 behind 8 - 10 times a year.

Also, was the 7.3 & 6.0 offered in the '03 models?

Ryan.
