Boost Fooler?

I just purchased a bd boost fooler from the local 4 wheel parts store and was wondering if any other members had this installed and if so what do you think of it?

didnt really do anything. just more smoke. it just tricks the comp. saying that there is more boost than there really is, so it fuels a little bit.

so more smoke is all? i says ill have all my power delivered b/c it will not defuel the truck...is that true? i honestly dont need smoke cause innovative and my smoke switch got that covered

Boost foolers are really only used on 99-03 7.3L that have overboost CEL which drives the computer to defuel the motor. As far as I know there is no Overboost issues with the 6.0 or if there is the value is set very high....

ya i have never heard of a 6.0 getting an over boost code, i havent and i make about 45psi give or take a few

i gotcha, my gauge might be off but i dont belive i have ever made it passed 30 lbs of boost, is that normal?

You are fine with 30 PSI. Redracer has a lot more than just a tuner. LOL

don't need it on a 6.0L if you have custom tunes. built in the tunes. return it and buy some lunch.
