Block heater
I week or so ago there was a post about all fords coming with a block heater just not always a cord. Somebody posted pics of where the cord would be and they were very helpful, however there was nothing there so i need to see if someone will post pics of where the heater itself would be. Thank you
Oh yeah it is for my father and law and it is an 04 6.0 thank you. |

Its on the passenger side towards the back of the engine right above the starter. Its hard to see from under the truck but you can feel it if you know what yoru feeling for. 2 round prongs that the cord plugs into on a threaded shaft. if you pull the inner fender well out, you will be looking right at it.

I've never seen one with out it but i seen a few without a cord.
That doesn't mean they all come with it, just that i have never seen it othwise. Its likely you have one. |

i'm pretty sure they all come with the element. really easy to see with a mirror from underneath. i think the ford block heater cord runs about $90.

You best know what options you have. There is one for the block heater and battery heater, and one just for the block heater. The element is seperate. Your Premiere Source for Ford Truck Parts | Powerstrokeshop.com has the cord for much cheaper then the dealer though. |

the 7.3 is on the left (driver's) and the 6.0 and 6.4 is on the right (passenger) side |
