New Membert-2007 F350 HD PS Diesel

Greetings from Canada's "left" coast. My hearty congratulations on all of you that contribute to this outstanding looking forum, keeping it breathing with your obvious passion and regular input! I appreciate having this type of resource available..
I purchased my black 07' HD F350 PSD just over a year ago with 20,000 kms on it from my local dealer I have dealt with many times over the years. It is loaded with every option and came with a power canopy too. I now have approx. 30,000 kms (I have several vehicles so less k's) and so far just love my truck. I am however thinking of now changing the tires (like the stock wheels) and over the winter "adding" a few possible upgrades..so as a "newbie" I would like to defer to you, the owner/experts, here in this forum for any and all suggestions (I tow my SCCA race car a dozen times a year, ATV's and the occasional lake boat but nothing serious and not for "long" mileage) as to what performance and/or cosmetic upgrades for my particular vehicle might be..sort of a top ten list lets say.

Congrats on the new addition!

As for your ????......... I'd say guages (tranny temp, EGT, boost), 4" turbo back exhaust (straight pipe it, no cat, no muffler) and then tuner (SCT with custom tunes)

Hmm..a quick question. I have several SCCA race cars and a couple of collector muscle cars and have owned plenty of trucks..but this is "my" first diesel..what would any of you say is the best "oil" for my particular engine (6.0). I am currenty using Royal Purple synthetic but was thinking of going with Amsoil (I use Redline in my cars) and a Fram oil filter..I know it might seem like a dumb *** question..lol..but one never knows and I would rather ask and know..thanks in advance.

I would stay away from the non-OEM. Use the OEM style made by Racor. The others don't always fit correctly and can cause the oil to drain back down to the pan like when you remove the filter element.

HUH? Racor makes the motorcraft filters, iirc. I buy and use racor filters from shopdiesel.com. Cheapest I've found. For oil up in that cold weather I would use valvoline 5w-40 fully synthetic or schaffer's has some real good options as well. I agree, get some pics up! welcome.
