Just picked up my Excursion from my local mechanic and looks like he plumbed the coolant filter into the passenger side coolant line out of the degas than the one on the front/driver side. Does it matter which one is used?
Should have explained better. I have the sinister coolant filter kit, and it has the line to the heater core and a line to the degas. But its hooked into the one coming out the side towards the passenger side of the vehicle and not the one on the front of the bottle that goes into the top of the radiator. Just wondering if this will effect it's filter ability?
what is that black abomination on top of your oil filter housing? :hehe:
I think the OP is saying that the T is connected to the hose coming from the EGR cooler/ intake manifold area instead of the radiator overflow hose.
