Looking at a 2006 6.0. F350 harley edition. Has 140k on it. Just glanced at it today and it looks pretty solid. Some rust on tailgate. They're asking 24k for it. Any thoughts or concerns or what to look for? I bought a 2008 crewcab 6.4 off of them and have had nothing but problems. And they offered me to swap them out. Just tossing around the idea. I've had my share of issues with 6.0s before and always concidered them the problem child. But with my current problems with the 6.4 I'm open for options.
Put a monitor on it and see if all of the parameters are met such EOT/ECT delta. Oh and 24 is way too much; make sure you check NADA or Kelly Blue book
24 is off the charts! i paid just under 20 for mine (lariat) with 118 on the clock and it was clean! torque app, scanguage or another monitor that can read in real time would be helpful. check the injection pressure, FICM voltage cold, cranking, running hot and look for things like aftermarket filter housings, green coolant..etc
the Harley is nice, but its not made from gold or silver last time i checked
