exhaust notes
Why do the gassers have a deep rumble with an exhaust but diesels do not? Does the turbo kill the noise? Is it due to gassers have backpressure? I know diesels start to get deep when you rev them up but not like a gasser?
I have always wondered this. eh anywho I would rather have the whistle anyday over the rumble

From experience with turbo Mustangs (so comparing gas motors Street and Race) is Turbos do cut down on the exhaust note, and naturally aspirated motor to a turbo motor all others the same will be louder, also allows a turbo motor to get away with a free'er exhaust around town without attracting more attention.
