Have only added fuel one time to my new truck (05 f350) and noticed when it got close to half it would either read full again or read empty? I feel if the tank sensor was bad it would be the same all the time? Could it be a wire grounding out or bad plug? What do you think I really not interested in dropping tank but I also don't want to run it down too close to empty either.
My fuel gauge hasn't worked for two years, it never hits fuel, and never goes below a quarter of a tank, i replaced the sending unit and it didnt fix anything, i even added a second fuel gauge to see if it worked, but nothing, ive been trying to fix mine for two years
Thats a lot of interesting facts, made my head spin, but what are you trying to say with it, are you saying we should try those different methods? Or are you saying it could be in the fuel pump fuel level sensor?
