Stumped Tranny Question

I have a Mag-Hytec deep trans pan, can i use a factory trans filter or do i use the mag-hytec trans filter? Im not sure if it matters or not so if anyone has any feedback on this, id appreciate it. Thanks -Pat

I didn't know the mag hytec pan required the use of a different filter. I know it increases oil capacity by quite a bit, but I don't have a clue about the filter. Maybe you should order one to see if it has a longer neck that puts it deeper in the pan or if it's the same as stock dimension wise.

thanks.. i will prob buy a factory and a mag-hytec one to see what the differences are. just like you said, maybe the dimensions are deeper to get farther down into the deep pan.
