anyone using Mobil 1 synthetic
I'm looking to put Mobil 1 in for my next oil change in about a thousand miles or so and was curious 1) If anyone was getting it in gallons cause i can't find them and 2) How much are yall finding it for and where is the best place to get it, I saw a 6 quart case for 38.50 at autozone ...

Wal-Mart usually carries it in 4 quart jugs for like $22 a jug.

get the Rotilla Synthetic. i do a blend 3 gal of regular rotilla and 3 quarts of synthetic. i use to do 15/40w rotilla and 15/50w mobil one but now rotilla has a synthetic

ohh yea $55 for the 3 gal of regular rotilla and filter at advanced auto. the gal of synthetic was $20ish

Comparing mobil1 to rotella is like comparing gold to lead. both very heavy, but one basiclly worthless. Rotella just doesn't hold up as well as Mobil 1 in these extreme oil shear engines. Spend the extra coin for the Mobil1. Your injectors will love you for it.

Valvoline is extremely good oil also, just a little tougher to find. I'd use it or the Mobil1. Both work very well in this engine.
