help with sct

i received my sct tuner today with innovated diesel custom tunes. when i try to download it to my truck i keep getting errors. What is the problem?

well.. they go shipped blank... the custom tunes are not pre loaded on the tuner.. you need to grab your trucks strategy, write it down and email it to eric

so when i receive it the tuner it is not ready to use. how do i get my trucks strategy?

nope.. if you bought a custom tuned sct it will not have the tunes pre loaded... plug it into your OBD 2 port and take the steps to get your trucks startegy... after you have that email that number to eric sales@innovativediesel.com after the he can email you back the tunes...

go to the SCT website and load up the software for the X3...

once their emailed to you you can download it to the X3 then to your truck

Raul is half right....the tuner is ready to use out of the box with "canned tunes" which are still good tunes. You can run those around untill eric gets you set up. Raul your still the man!

The canned tunes should work right out of the box! if not then there is defiantly a problem. email or call eric at Innovative and tell him your exact symptoms and he will have you running in no time.

i was under the assumption that the tuners that are used for custom tunes are blank.... because SCT makes some specific ones that they sell to like innovative that noone else can buy....

im pretty sure of this but i could of heard wrong
