Well I have the urge to waste some more money on my truck :taze: so I think im going to get an led light bar. I dont want to loose my fog lights so I think I am going to mount it behind my grill. I found one on amazon for a pretty good price would I have any trouble fitting this behind my grill?
Anybody have a write up of an install? What kind of wiring/switches will I need? Im not too great with wiring so any input will help out
You can use any switch that you think looks good really. LED bars are really low draw so your good with most swtiches. I have my lights on ford upfitters.
Easiest way to run the lighting is neg to the battery. Positive run through the cab to your switch (with a inline fuse!) then from the switch to the pos of battery
Just ordered it. that support doesnt really do anything does it? The only thing I am worried about is getting it to line up in between the bars of my grille since I dont have the billet grille like that
Sorry for the three consecutive posts back to back. But my buddy has an 05 f150 with the honeycomb grille. He had to fab a bracket to raise it up to the proper height but it came out really nice.
How bright is the light bar behind the grill? Does the grill block a lot of the light?
