Two questions?..

Hey guys I'm on here for a buddy of mine. He has a 05' stroke! He has programmer, exhaust, intake. He is wondering if there are any shift kits out there for the tourqe shift trans? Is that what's it's called? I dunno I drive a D-max. But wondering if there is any shift kits available for these trucks? And if there is a turbo silencer that can be removed. He already has a 5 inch flo-pro turbo back. But isn't there a down pipe that you can get from off the turbo, for them or did the flo-pro come with it? I am just wondering and he had a question or two. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

What programmer does he have? SCT is hands down the most preferred and recommended programmer for the 6.0 and it can customize transmission and engine in one pop. Not sure about matching up a bigger down pipe with a cat-back system.

If you get a full exhaust it comes with a down pipe. The problem is, there is not much room for anything bigger than a 3.5" DP. So you have to get bigger at the bend once you clear the fire wall.

The transmission tuning comes from the computer so there are not really any "shift kits" for them. Tell him to get and SCT with custom tunes and it will shift like a dream. Too much time on the other kinds of tuners can burn things up.

He has the triple dog. And is the sct tuner like EFI live on a d-max where you have to buy a license or can we buy one tuner that is already set to go? Just plug her in and GO! How many power levels can you get with this tuner?I know nothing about them. Also turbo silencer is there one? Any tricks you can do? Besides straigth pipe

Can we just order the SCT tuner from SCT with tunes already on it? What part number do we need. I have seen that there are two programmers. Is is like race and a tow one or what?

you buy the tuner, plug it into the truck get the trucks startegy send the strategy vin and info to a company like innovative diesel they make the custom tunes and send em back to you...their xtreme tunes are awesome..his trans will love him after that...the trans on a 6.0 is all electronically controlled by the computers, no valve bodies
