Does anyone know what size the heater hose is that goes from the top of the radiator to the degas bottle? Where you would typically tap in for something like the Sinister coolant filter? I want to get an adapter to tap into that line for a coolant pressure sensor. I looked at the hose, but don't see a size.
I believe it is 1/4 inch I.D. You can splice in with a T for your pressure gauge. The filter kits are a bypass kit. It bypasses coolant going to your heater core, which gets sent through the filter and dumped back into your degas bottle.
No sorry, what I meant was I made a pressure gauge for individually testing coolant pressure on different trucks, not one that I'll be running all the time myself. What I have is a 3/8x3/8x1/4 stainless T-barb fitting I got off eBay. I run a 5-6' hose to a gauge outside of the truck.
