S&B Filters requires a 03-04 Powerstroke 6.0L for ongoing R&D. Participant will be provided with a free Cold Air Intake Kit and Intake Elbow in addition to $50 for fuel in exchange for the use of the vehicle for 3 hours. S&B is located in Ontario, California. Man I did this for K&N, they ended up dynoing my truck and giving me a FIPK kit, this is a pretty good deal for someone...

Well..........Looks like I got lucky. They set me up an appointment for 12/8/08 to install the intake and elbow, plus the $50 in fuel. I'll post the results here when it's all done. I've been curious about upgrading the intake elbow. If they Dyno the truck, I'll post the numbers.

Well... I got the intake elbow and cold air intake setup just like they said. Looks real good under my hood. The guys were real cool and did the install pretty quickly. The S&B filter setup looks better and installed easier than my Volant. The elbow also came with a new larger tube from the intercooler to elbow. They asked me to just keep them posted on what I think and what differences I notice. I know that when I pull my 9000lb trailer, I get 10 mpg and I get 14.5 not towing. Now I will see what I get with the S&B filter instead of the Volant and also the S&B elbow installed. I'll post soon on the results. Now.........if only Snow Performance would offer me their water/methanol injection to test out. LOL I can wish, right ?! p.s. I did get the $50 bucks in cash too.
