sct xcal 3 vs livewire
i was thinking about getting the livewire to replace my 6gun. but was wondering if getting the livewrie had any major advantages over the xcal3. other than being able to change settings on the fly. i really like the look of having gauges on the pillar. and was really leaning towrds gauges and the xcal3 over the live wire if nothign else to clean up the look of my interior. because it looks a little cluttered with the siruis sat. radio, power program monitor, and my ipod unit.

The only difference between the Xcal and the Livewire is the Livewire has the ability of gauges. You can not switch tunes on the fly on either one of them. If you are getting gauges on the pillar I would get the Xcal.

yep, only reason for the Live wire is the monitor capabilities. If you get gauges on the A-Pillar, no real reason to go to a Live wire, unless you want to use for the built in performance monitors, like quarter-mile times and horsepower estimates, not sure if they are very accurate though.
