04' Power Rear Slider
Someone was kind enough to break my rear power slider window out to attain my nice Pioneer AVIC-D3.
![]() Is this thing replacable? Or does the whole window need to come out? This has probably been asked before. But I'm piiiissed.

I'm pretty sure that the whole window needs to be replaced as a single unit. I found the LINK I was telling you about...

It's a shame that you're in Cali. I know a guy that has several factory power sliders with factory tinted glass for $150 each...

FedEx freight. I can't believe how frequently these trucks get broke into.... unreal. You would think they'd be breaking into a Lexus, Benz, Etc.... but no. Those cars are all over mall parking lots with factory Navigation and I've never heard of one getting broke into.

Another question. My insurance company sent the glass guy out to my house to install the new window. He pulled the interior panel off and it was then that he realized I had a power slider. He didn't bring a power slider. He can't get one for two weeks. He left. WTF? So now I have no window for two more weeks?
I found someone local parting out an '04 Lariat. I've heard that the window will come out with only 6-8 bolts. But how does it seal? Could I buy this used window and just pop it in myself? Or is this more on a professional level? Thanks. |
