need part# please
im looking for the part # for the block heater cord for my truck. i looked online and found 2 #'s. can anyone tell me which one is correct? 1st part # is 5c3z-6b018-aa which i got off another forum i found. and the other one is 5C3Z6B018DA this is from powerstrokeshop.com they actually show 2 different kinds.

you need the first (top) one. the bottom one is made to go into a chrome housing. usually found on trucks not pick ups, and please dont pay that kind of price. anyone nearby that sells phillips/temron or called zerostart sells those for like 20 bucks tops!!! i can give you the part # tommorrow if needed. any international garage should have in stock.

also, all heaters have the same plug in exept the old idi's. you need the two pin round plug, if you should find one.

Well the first parts # is not a good # the second one is for the heater kit, They are right after market would be less expensive. if you want I can look it up and give you the correct #
