Thinking about purchasing ( need some advice )

I have been looking at this truck in bakersfield. My wife and I went and test drove it yesterday and really liked it. It is an 06, 38,000 miles, black leather interior, Excellent condition. Did not see anything that stood out as bad but I am not really that familiar with these trucks. They are asking 29,900 for it. I would like to do an oasis report but I do not have the capabilities. I will post the VIN and see if anybody can hook me up. How does the price sound??? Anything to look for in particular??? let me know guys thanks,

Not sure of the price difference between california and here... but, i know of 2 or 3 like that for between 20.5k and 24k here in alabama.

i just talked to a guy in birmingham on saturday... he has two F250's, both 06's... one is lifted: 24k asking price. the other is stock: 20.5k

Seems priced a little high, let me see if I can remember all the specifics on the one I just got:

2006, F250, Crew Cab, shortbed, 4x4, FX4, Lariet (tan leather bench), Chrome Package, and 20" polished wheels, had a spray in bed liner, 43,000 miles, and has the two tone paint (medium wedgewood on arizona tan). Has the heated seats etc. I think only option it didn't have was moonroof, rear dvd (or whatever), and upfitter switches.

Found it on Autotrader for $21,990.

Downside was the dealer screwing me on the trade-in of my Hemi Durango and that they wouldn't budge on the price even when I walked in with a check from my bank; so their dealer sticker was off in a day or two.
