6.0L warranty? engine or powertrain?

I thought this was for the powertrain to 100k miles, not JUST the powerstroke engine?

I had my truck to the dealer for the first time ever this past weekend, 4x4 wouldnt engage right the other day. Havnt used the shift on the fly 4x4 since last february... they said its working now? oh well

They also said the truck is out of warranty, 36,400 miles :/ So if the trans goes kaboom now im SOL? sucks for something like this to happen now, the only time of the year it actually use 4x4.

Yep, it's engine only. The powertrain warranty is longer on 07 models, but we're SOL after 36k on ours.

No 100,000 mile engine warranty , 75,000 mile powertrain and 36,000 bumper to bumper

The powertrain warranty is only 3/36k on the 06 and back. 07s are 3/36k bumper to bumper, 5/60k powertrain, and 5/100k diesel engine. Lincolns had a 6/70 powertrain on 07 models.

I'm not sure about 08, though. I've never heard of a 75k warranty on any 6.0 Super Duty.

My 05 is 100K on motor and everything else is 3yr/36K miles. Trust me I've used my warranty many times and had to buy a new tranny at 56K miles because the piece of junk broke.
