Lets talk Tires!!!

Ok I'm looking for a good set of 35 12.50 16 tires for my F250.

I would like a aggressive looking AT or a not very agressive MT that will wear well, I put alot of miles on my truck a year and would like these to last a while. I will mainly be on pavement with an occational off-road joy ride. We never get any snow so I'm not worried about how they preform in snow.

With all the tire choices out there I cant figure out what I want.

What do you guys recommend?

Also I would like to keep as much money in my wallet as possible, so a best bang for my buck tire would be nice.

My buddy has the Mickey Ts ATZ on his dodge and huals alot of weight all the time, and they work out great.

I have the MT mud terrain, and i like them alot, today was there first day in the snow and she did well. (probably because i dont have my chip in)

I run Nitto Terra Grapplers (AT) - dont look real agressive but wear, handle and cost real nice!

Consider Mickey Thompson ATZ (dont remember - ATZ or is it ATX?) Agressive sidewall, agressive tread - AT will give you a better ride, smoother, and quieter then a MT.

if you want a MT - consider the Hankook MT - wont set you back alot of money - is a agressive AT - MT actually stands for Maximum Traction - but handles well off road.

The Nittos handle very well off road, have a high weight capacity and cost very little compared to most other brands.

325/60r16 Toyo A/Ts are 35 tall 13 wide but you need a 10" wheel for them. Thats what is on the 04 Harley S/D picture thats in my gallery.

I consider Toyo' MT's to actually be more of an AT,...so I would recommend them to ya.

I am running the Cooper STT's. Their thread is almost identical to the toyo mt. They wear well. The Nitto all terrain wears well it just doesn't look agressive enough for me.
