SCT with custom innovative tunes...SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning...a sponsor here raul sells em, make sure you have an egt guage to monitor your temps...

SCT and then pick your custom tuner. Alot of people go with Innovative tuning but there lots of other people out there doing custom tuning as well.

so does it come with hp & tq gains on it already ? is it plug & play? you can have a custom tune added later? sorry about all the questions but my last car to tune it we just put it on a dyno and the tuner plugged his laptop in and work his magic.

there are a ton of different tunes you can do, i run a 160 xtreme street from innovative as a daily driver...its a quick tune and fun. it does have canned tunes on it that arent custom. you can run those and get custom later if you want. there are a million different options with custom tunes, from towing to economy to power, you just have to make sure its a good transmission tuner...with 160 xtreme street and 37 inch tires i run a 14.3 quarter mile to give you an idea of the power

If I recall correctly an SCT from Innovative is around $425, extreme tunes cost a little more.

Before using the SCT you really need to install a set of gauges!

the tuner with custom tunes is 430...the xtreme tunes (160hp) are another 80 for each

truck has a factory boost & trans temp gauges . what else would i need? i was told the first gen 6.0 would stretch the head bolts do i need to worry about this?
