GOT MY SCT!!!!

i know the sct is the best programmer for our trucks and you guys have nothing but good things to say, but it is the greatest thing i have ever owned, second to my truck of course. my truck feels like a rocket. anyway i have a dashscan and i will soon be ordering the egt probe and everything else is stock. the only thing im worried about is my heads but its under warranty for another year does anybody have any advice for me, what other mods and such. i apologize if im the millionth person posting the same question, thanks in advance.

whos tuning did you end up going with?

my advice is gauges as soon as possible... egt, trans temp and boost....

and an exhaust to keep EGT's down

ah k.. i have never heard of anyone using that...

but you still need the egt prove and a trans temp.. i hope you got a really good deal on it because if not after you add the probe and the trans temp gauge you prob could of just but a full set of regular gauges

got it for 170 on ebay but i wanted the digital display and the ability to datalog while i watch and it has a built in horsepower and 1/4 mile time calculator. plus it shows a lot of other info that i like to see, injector PW and pressure and so on. im a tech so the more i know the happier i am i think you are right though i probably will spend a little more than if i would have gotten gauges but then again i would be surrounded by gauges. knowing me though i will end up with a lot more than i need.

A fuel pressure gauge is also a good one to have.
