Red Diesel Additive

What would be the best additive to run in our 6.0L farm truck that only runs on red diesel? I want something to improve mileage and keep everything good and clean and increase lubricity! Thanks for your help!

I run two tanks in it. One in the bed with red for off road one with regular for on road. I am well aware its illegal to run red on road. But yes i run it on the roads surrounding the property but if i go into town or away from the property it runs on regular!

Red diesel (farm or off road diesel) is no different than regular diesel. All diesel additives will work the same in it.

any additive is fine. the red fuel only has a different dye to tell the difference from taxed and not taxed

Thanks everyone thats what i thought. Now what I am confused about is on the red diesel pump it still says that that diesel is 500ppm sulfur? That is the old diesel right? I can still use all the additives on the market today with that?

I use 2-cycle oil TCW-3 ashless to be exact. If you decide to try it use 1oz per gallon. I will use 32oz when I fill my 38gal tank.

I have found the motor runs smoother with no additional issues.

ya the 500 ppm is just the old low sulfer diesel...the new ultra low is 50 ppm...the red actually lubricates the engine more...no problems running it you can still add any diesel additiave you want to it
