Straight pipe help

I like to know what is the good and bad on straight pipe, I have 06 F250 4x4 with turbo back banks power and I like to change it to straight pipe.

well just cutting the muffler out shouldnt do anything but MAKE IT LOUD i would think

It will whistle like crazy and sound awesome except when cruising on highway above 70 mph, or pulling trailer. I ended up getting a high flow 4" muffler for mine because of a loss in low end torque, which I got back after getting rid of straight pipe.

What truck do you have? I have a early 04 wich has the 03 turbo on it. She whistles really good when ideling. Loud when you get on the skinny peddal.
