Coolant Type For An 05 powerstroke?
The coolant is orange and smells like dexcool, but I thought that dexcool was GM only. Is there another orange coolant or do I need to just go and buy the Ford coolant? Thanks in advance for any help.

Go get the Motorcraft Gold. Using other coolants can cause big problems. Some say the Zerex G05 coolant is an acceptable substitute.

unfourtunatly the ford gold cant be mixed as far as i know with anything else. if someone else knows otherwise then i am sure they will chime in. but to be safe for now then your gonna have to bite the bullet and buy the ford stuff.
