6.0 modding??

So I had a 7.3 and it was stolen so I was looking at getting a newer truck. I was hoping to get a 6.4 but the bank doesn't think that is in my budget at the time. So now I am looking at 06-07 6.0's. I had studied the best mods for 7.3's since I modded mine and I was looking into the best mods for 6.4's. I have looked a little at the 6.0's overtime and now I have some questions. What is the best brands for an intake, exhaust, and tuner. I know S&B is a pretty good intake I would probaly go with that. I believe the SCT w/ innovative tunes is the best tuner for the 6.0?? No idea on exhaust I would want to straight pipe it though. One more question, if I put a tuner on it and do stretch the head studs, will the dealer replace them if its under warranty and I remove the tuner? I thought I heard some dealers replaced with ARP's in warranty? Sorry for the long post but any help is appreciated.

Stock intake is best thing to leave stock. SCT with custom tunes for programmer. Any stainless steel exhaust will do, it's the price and name that is different. Headstuds are gonna take some time to get put in under warranty. Just become friends with the guys at Ford but don't let on that you have a tuner. Eventually your EGR cooler will break and when it does ask about the headstuds and offer some "extra" cash to the tech for doing it if he does it under warranty.

Don't get an intake Save the $300 and do the Zoodad Mod yourself. Look in the tech write ups, there are several how to's in there.... SCT for Tuner, and talk to "GUS" from FarmboysDiesel.com and he will hook you up in the exhaust!!!

Really an intake doesn't help these trucks that much? Is there any one vendor or person that does the best or cheapest tunes for the SCT. Do most ppl run a triple gauge pod with pyro, boost, and trans temp?

Pyro and fuel pressure are probably the most important two gauges. Boost, tranny temp, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, hpop pressure, ....

you dont want cheap tunes....

get gauges (boost, pyro, trans)starting at $299.95
any 4" Tb exhaust (prefer a budget kit) starting at $250.00
SCT X3 with innovative tunes $429.00

the stock intake will work fine for you now... most people dont change them because the stocker flows enough air.. the people that have changed it have reported a lil gain and better turbo noise... up to you.... but if you want to change it og with the S&B... price is $269.00

these are all single prices.. if you wanted to do a package deal i can set it up... these also do not include shipping
