rear diff cover question

OK, I was told that the new '08 finned diff covers will fit on a '04. I was also told they only cost about $45. Anyone have any info for me? My truck is SRW, 350. I don't know what alxe is under the beast. Will look tomorrow morning.

2004 F350 CC long bed 4x4
4" silverline turbo back, Airaid intake, Zoodad
2.5 skyjacker leveling kit with airbags in rear
Auto Meter pyro, boost, trans gauges
And one pretty red paintjob
